1 cup basmati rice
1/2 cup peas (optional)
1 onion finely chopped
2 tbsp ginger, garlic, chopped
4no Green chili (grind in to paste)
3 tbsp Tomato puree
1 cup paneer cubes
3 tbsp curd
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp chopped coriander
a pinch sugar
1 tsp butter
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
Wash the rice and soak in water for some time.
Heat the butter and oil in a pan , add the onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and stir for a few minutes till the onion becomes brown .
Finally, add the rice, garam masala, coriander, curd,2 cups of water , salt and close the pan and cook till the rice is done. Serve hot.
